This is just a quick note to say how much we appreciate the coaching you gave our son John for the SATs. The increase in combined scores from before your help to after your help was 170 points. John’s scores increased from 1930 to 2100 [note from Ronnie: John and I had four sessions]. Your coaching was not only helpful, you were also both encouraging and a pleasure to work with.
Since that time John has been accepted to both of the colleges he applied to for admission as a freshman for the Fall of 2010. Both of the schools have even offered John an academic scholarships. This is unusual in that during the interviews they said that they offer very few scholastic scholarships, reserving the preponderance of available funds for need based scholarships. One of the colleges has even invited John to apply for a special honors program. John believes that this invitation was extended partially as a result of his dramatically improved test scores.
Thanks again for all your good coaching.
We were referred to Ronnie by one of our daughter’s friends and were so grateful for the results he gave her on her SAT scores. She had a total of 8 sessions with Ronnie and her SAT’s went up over 200 points!!!!! This was more than we expected. She found him to be very encouraging and motivating during each session. She was excited to complete the assignments and eager to go to each tutor session. We highly recommend Ronnie to anyone due to the results our daughter had.
My son Michael had a wonderful experience working with Ronnie. Ronnie was very calm and professional, and his teaching methods really work. In a very short period of time, Ronnie was able to pinpoint Michael’s weaknesses, and he really focused his time and attention on those areas. I know that Michael would not have received such individualized instruction in a group setting. Also, Michael is involved in sports and other activities, and Ronnie worked around our schedule. Best of all, thanks to Ronnie, Michael was able to increase his SAT score by over 200 points, which qualified him for a scholarship!
I would highly recommend Ronnie to anyone preparing for the SAT!
My SAT tutoring experience was great! I had been stuck with the same score twice already and was afraid of getting a 1990 again. Within two months of hard work, I was able to increase my score 120 points to a 2110.
We primarily focused on critical reading and writing, and I believe Ronnie’s method of taking many tests and writing down all the words I was not familiar with actually works! Thank you for helping me reach my goal!
Mr. Demler . . . was exceptionally recognized for his outstanding SAT test preparation skills. [He] was often requested by new clients referred by his past or existing clients.
. . . Mr. Demler is an extremely bright, calm, capable and effective individual. He is composed, insightful, and effective. Despite his own exceptional academic abilities and quick intelligence, he has a knack for simplifying complex material for his students. He is also highly confident and competent.
Mr. Demler’s high evaluations by both [company] Directors are also evident in the confidential evaluations from [our clients] that were consistently in the highest possible ranges . . . .
I had set an SAT goal that would guarantee my admission to my top university choices and increase my scholarship opportunities, and after only seven sessions with Ronnie my goals were met. I saw an over 100 point increase, bringing my total score to 1950. I appreciated that he focused on the areas I needed help with, and still strengthened other areas of the SAT test. The time and money spent have already paid off.
My daughter worked with Ronnie and improved her scores. That is a good thing, and she would not have done it without Ronnie. More importantly is his approach to the student. He is knowledgable, prepared, and he cares that his students succeed. He develops a relationship that not only teaches but also motivates. I recommend him to any parent.
[Ronnie] proved himself to be better than any of my teachers. I had Berkeley, UCLA, USC and some Ivy League graduates. Ronnie was very quick at getting close to students and knowing what their needs were; soon students asked me if they could be in Ronnie’s class. Ronnie possesses the teaching and communication skill, and solid knowledge required to teach SAT Classes.

As the former branch manager of one of the most prominent private institutes in Southern California, I recommend him very strongly.
